It’s no secret that today’s market is favored towards the seller. If you’re looking to sell your home, it’s highly likely you’ll find yourself in a multiple-offer situation. Today I’ll go over how my team handles multiple offers.
The first thing we do is follow up with every agent and buyer to make sure they’ve submitted their best offer. We want to make sure every buyer has an opportunity to give you the best deal they can.
Next, we consider your timeline. Do you need to move quickly, or are you looking to stay in your house while you look for a new place? In either case, we make sure your needs are met.
Third, we look at how much money each offer is putting down. If they’re putting a lot of money down, the buyer may be able to eliminate contingencies and act like a cash offer. While the cash offer isn’t always the best, conventional and cash is the only way to close on the high-end market.
