Interest rates are rising, but they are still historically low.

Have you heard any of the recent news about interest rates? Be careful which websites you get your information from because there’s a lot of misinformation out there. Bankrate.com is a good site, and they’re saying that interest rates are at 5.1%, as of mid-April.

During the pandemic, interest rates were on a super-sale. Just ask people who bought a long time ago, and you’ll see that rates are still very good. My father told me that the interest rate on his first house was 18%. It’s still a good time to buy, and money is still very cheap to borrow. Don’t let the interest rate talk get you down. When you’re renting, you are paying 100% interest.
